reactivation of the Mallard oil field in the central North Sea, where
a new water injection well has been added, the successful appraisal
and development of an extension to the Johnston
Mallard oil field, also in the GKA, resumed production in mid-December
following production optimization initiatives. It is a high-pressure,
high-temperature subsea tieback to the Kittiwake platform.
